The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the provisional answer key for the Re-NEET UG 2026 examination on June 25, 2026. The Re-NEET was conducted on June 21, 2026 across centres nationwide, and the answer key is available for all four paper codes: 50, 60, 70, and 80.
If you appeared for the Re-NEET, this is the most important thing you need to do right now — download your OMR sheet, cross-check it with the answer key, and if you spot any error, raise a challenge before June 28.

How to Download Your Answer Key + OMR Sheet
Go to neet.nta.nic.in — the official NTA NEET portal.
Click on "Display OMR Answer Sheet / Challenge Recorded Response and Answer Key".
Log in with your NEET 2026 Application Number and Password/Date of Birth.
Download your OMR sheet and cross-check every answer with the provisional answer key for your code.
If you find a discrepancy, use the challenge window on the same portal to raise objections.
How to Challenge the Answer Key
NTA allows candidates to challenge the provisional answer key if they believe a question has been marked incorrectly. Here's what you need to know:
- Challenge fee: ₹200 per question challenged
- Deadline: June 28, 2026, 11:50 PM IST
- Payment mode: Online (credit/debit card, UPI, net banking)
- Refund: Fee is refunded if the challenge is upheld by NTA's expert committee
- How to challenge: Log in at neet.nta.nic.in → Select the question → Upload supporting evidence (NCERT page screenshot, reference text) → Pay and submit
When raising a challenge, always attach a scanned page from your NCERT textbook or a credible reference. Challenges backed by evidence from standard textbooks (especially NCERT) have a much higher chance of being upheld.
What Happens After the Challenge Window Closes?
Once the challenge window closes on June 28, NTA will review all objections with a panel of subject experts. The final answer key will be released after this review. NEET 2026 results will then be declared based on the final answer key — likely within 2–3 weeks of the challenge window closing.
